I was saving for a MacBook Pro. But I changed my mind!
My PC was getting so slow and my company Miss Design has been doing very well this year. I have done quite a few projects and I was able to pay for a nice iMac. The reason I chose an iMac over a MacBook Pro did have something to do with my slow, old computer. But also because we are currently looking into buying our first home. And in that first home I want my own office. If I have a decent office, I can ask clients to drop by rather than me always having to travel to the clients. And then I'd really rather look at a decent size iMac than a relatively small MacBook.
I will continue to save for my future MacBook Pro (or maybe a MacBook Air?) though. 
Because although I do love the iMac, it isn't particularly easing to carry around.
